I agree, that might restore some credibility and prestige to the title "world champion".

Personally i think CM Punk will cash in his money in the bank tonight an become the new champion espically as the Pay per view isn't far from his hometown so there all going to cheer loudly for him.

theres three main champions for the three so called brands. (if you can tell them apart you need to be given a medal) the only way i can see them making the belts credible is to drop the ecw brand and the wcw belt and make smackdown and raw joint shows. bring the old wwf belt out of retirement and use it.

i see mysterio and y2j are fighting for the ic belt. it looks like someone has forgotten what that belt is supposed to be for.

Everything you just said makes perfect sense, which is exactly why Vinny Mac won't do it!

I'd be all for it if they just unified the WCW and WWE belts again and had them contested on both shows, since it seems the brand split ain't changing anytime soon.

Like the Tag Team champs right now, then? I wouldn't mind that to be honest, I stopped watching WWE just before the whole brand thing, until Wrestlemania 25. Plus, the whole tag team format is pointless now that there are very few good teams left...

Do they actually contest the tag titles on both shows? I haven't seen Raw or Smackdown in ages since I cancelled my Sky Sports subscription.

Either way, I'm not building up my hopes for a return to the tag team glory days. Everytime I do they split up all the good teams (Londrick, MizMo, Cadeoche).

Not a bad opening match with Umaga winning i am even more positive now that Cm punk will walk out world champion later tonight.

Am glad Christian is still ECW champ another great match between swagger an Christian but you can be sure swagger will moan about the way Christian won.
