The coverage of the scotland situation is interesting. SNP understandably is centre stage, and the greens getting a fair mention too. Scottish tories getting some coverage as well because they are the ones pushing the no confidence vote, and now Alba getting front and centre as their one MSP could have the decisive vote.
So far, I haven't seen a single mention of Labour, nothing whatsoever. Given the likelihood that labour are going to not just win, but potentially landslide the upcoming general election, I would have expected them to see this as a golden opportunity to stick the knife in the SNP and start taking their support in the scottish parliament too, but, at least from here in the southern part of UK, all we get is silence.
Curious to know if things are different in scotland itself, and we are just being fed a typically skewed view down here.

RE: The State of the UK Union in 2022
My money's on Swinney mainly as the steady hand on the wheel, party grandee candidate who the left flank can get behind as a stop Forbes candidate as well.
If i was Forbes i wouldn't put my name forward anyway, the party's stock is on the way down whilst hers is up and holding steady. The Westminster elections are going to be a bloody nose, at best, for them, not to mention the public will probably have the same frustration, though not to the same degree, with a second first minister without an election and third in just over a year as they do with The Tories, why attach yourself to that ?
Not to mention if she loses a second time that would be her chances of being leader over for the foreseeable. She also has the benefit of youth, no need to rush, let Swinney be a caretaker, allow him to carry the negativety, let the failing be attached to another from the Sturgeon wing, allow the membership to become tired of losing with that brand of politics then when the time is right seize the moment and become a leader who is more popular than her party which would put her in a strong position.
Don't go too soon. Don't do a Ron De Santis
If i could find a girl that had the looks of Gal Gadot, breasts of Sophie Mudd with Demi Rose's ass, the personality of Jessica Ennis, the grace of Kendall Jenner on the red carpet and then behind closed doors the raw sexual energy of Nicole Snow i'd know i was dead and gone to heaven, so i'll just take Demi Rose's ass and Nicole's sexual energy
