Could it be anything to do with the recent flash update? The stream was working fine before then........
It seemed ok to me a few minutes ago. I have the latest flash update installed as well.
Not seen the show at night.
I have noticed that the sexstation stream was suffering a bit with freezes last night, which was unusual, but there might have been a lot of people watching since a new girl was on.
There have been recent posts in the TValways thread about the problems with the babestation stream, but it seems ok to me in the daytime.
The TeaseMe TV streams seem to be worse since they changed their website some weeks ago. Some of their channels are better than others.

RE: Elite TV - Live Webstream
I agree with The Watcher on this one, that I don't think it has anything to do with the new flash update. As the 965 stream was working last night without a hitch for me. And other webstreams for other companies seem to be working as normal, other than TeaseMe TV's 5th stream.
I know I had a campaign going to improve there stream, and I thought that campaign was over when they gave us a near perfect format, with excellent quality. But this last month, they seem to have screwed up all my hard work, and gone backwards instead of forwards.
Now Jamie's favorite quote is quality over quantity, but he's seems to have forgotten to apply this strategy when it comes to the stream.
If we could get back to the format we had a month ago, I don't think any of us would be complaining.
So Elite, if your reading this, could you please rectify the situation. As how are us cappers supposed to help promote your station, if we can't get the material to do it.

RE: Elite TV - Live Webstream
Sorry to be turning this into a one man thread again, but I just thought I'd share my observations with you.
Funny how the stream just seamed to correct it's self just as the off-peak time came in. Now is this due to D2see's transmission protocols conflicting with peak-time protocols? Your guess is as good as mine on this one.
But for those of you who have a connection status program that shows up in your active programs on the bottom right of your monitor, next to the time display. You may be able to confirm my observations the next time the problem occurs. The icon normally looks like two little monitors that light up when you have an active connection. Now when your watching a stream, this is normally permanently lit, showing that you have a stable connection. But during the times of the stream locking-up and freezing, this symbol is constantly showing that you are losing connection. Now this doesn't always result in the stream freezing, that only occurs when the buffer runs out of data before the stream re-connects.
Now I do know that Club Paradiso used to have the same problem when they were with D2see, but since they changed stream providers to FirestormMedia, their stream is a lot more stable.
So I can only conclude that D2see's transmission protocols are at fault, as most other stream providers don't seem to have this problem. So unless D2see can fix this problem, maybe Elite should consider changing stream providers.
Now I'm not saying my observations, or conclusions are correct, but there's certainly enough evidence to merit either D2see or Elite investigating it further.
Now I don't expect any response from either of them, in regards to this, so we will just have to wait and see how things turn out.

RE: Elite TV - Live Webstream
Nice to have a different perspective, and your not wrong Spooled.
I recorded a 3 hour session the other night of Kitty, Caty & Charlie's 2-4-1's, and it took nearly 6 gig of hard drive space. It was the same with the hot tub set. But at least the hot tub set wasn't pixalizing all the time.
You need to have a pretty nippy machine to capture the new set off the stream, and keep a decent frame rate and quality. Now they could improve the quality by turning the bit-rate up. But the recorded file will still be bigger than normal, because of the detail in the set.
I can remember BangMedia having the same problem, when they had the animal print sheets on the beds, and their barn/stable set. They eventually reverted to simpler set designs.
Now don't get me wrong, I have no objection to the more intricate set designs, as long as they turn up the bit-rate on the stream to compensate for the extra detail.
