NFL 2023-2024 Season

Surprised how well Stroud dissected a great Browns defense, a very mature performance. The Browns have so many key players missing, on offense they have struggled to run the ball with the absence of Chubb, with no ground game the Texans had all eyes on Flacco.
The first of the 2 picks in the 3d quarter that both went for tds came as the Browns were deep in Texans territory & only a 10 point game at that time.
You would still expect Stefanski to get Coach of the year, just ahead of Ryans, who called a great game on defense.
A great campaign for the Browns with a young team to build on. The big question is can Deshaun Watson take them forward.

Chiefs 26 - 7 Dolphins
It was cold at Arrowhead, it start cold & got colder as temperatures dropped to -7 (-34 wind chill). Snotty icicles had formed on Andy Reid moustache.
The weather necessitated that the running game was the safest way to go, Pacheco carried 24 times, with Mostert only 8 carries. Mahones has found a reliable receiver in Rashee Rice (8-130-1 TD) & Kelce had 7-71, despite yet more drops. Mahones connected with 9 different targets & scrambled for 2 vital 1st downs. Butker was 4/4 on field goals in testing conditions.
The Chief defense covered the Dolphins receivers well which meant that Tua had to hold on the the ball longer, allowing the D-line to constantly bring pressure. Hill had a 53 yard td reception, but only managed 9 yards on his 4 other catches. The Cowboys were 1-12 on 3rd downs.
You can almost forget the troubles that the Chiefs have had this season. Mahones in the Playoffs is a real threat, allied to a young defense well coached by Spagnuola. You wouldn't back against them going all the way.

EDIT :- Sundays early kick-off between the Bills & Steelers has been postponed & rescheduled for Monday due due bad weather expected in the Buffalo area, with strong winds & heavy snow forecast. The decision was made in the interest of public safety.

Packers 48 - 32 Cowboys
Don't be deceived by the score, it was 48-16 in the 4th qtr, at which point starters were on the sideline.

Lions 24 - 23 Rams
The first Lions Playoff win for 32 years. Stafford got a rowdy reception from his ex-team, after the trade to the Rams, with Goff going in the opposite direction.
Very little to choose between the teams, as they matched up statistically in most aspects. Goff was the more efficient of the 2 QB's. For the Rams Puka Nacua had 9 catches for 181 yards & a TD. St. Brown had 7 - 110 for the Lions.

Bills 31 - 17 Steelers
The Bills jumped out to a 21-0 lead early in the 2nd Qtr. Allen connected with his Tight Ends on the first 2 scores, the Bills defense forced the Steelers to punt on their first 3 possessions. Both Steelers turnovers were converted into TD's. In the 4th Qtr the Steelers got to within one score before the Bills immediately responded with a touchdown which sealed the win. Highlight of the game was the Allen 52 yard touchdown scramble.

Buccs 32 - 9 Eagles
After a 10-1 start the Eagles finished 1-6, they have declined to a point that they were ready for the taking against a swarming Buccs defense. With no running game it was Hurts to DeVonta Smith (8-148) or nothing, with 6 other receivers accounting for 17-102. No one gave the Buccs a chance going into the season, Mayfield has led them well.
