I'm a Stockport County fan Kalel. It always ends a discussion when I mention that I'm a County fan because nobody outside of Cheshire knows anything about us!

Its a proper football club though County and its a fan-run club so you feel like a big part of whats going on. No billion dollar owners, prima-donna players or £800 season tickets - just football, the way it should be.

He wasn't that bad! He was a half decent target man, won the ball well in the air and could find a team mate if they were within ten yards and he had a clear line of sight at him Admittedly he was so slow you might think he would travel faster running backwards, but all the same a half decent big man. Andy Welsh was a half decent winger as well, I saw him after he went to Sunderland, not the quickest but a good crosser of the ball.

To be fair to Shefki, he's managed to con a fair few high-profile managers that he is as actual footballer! Palace payed £2.5million for him for some reason!

We turned down an offer of around a million pound for Andy Welsh, then 6-months later he left on a free transfer to Sunderland! (another tactical masterstroke by our then clown of a manager, CARLTON PALMER)

Yeah, things were going better for County than I could ever remember in my lifetime before he took over. I've always wondered if people in Stockport now use Carlton Palmer as a swearword... (bangs thumb with hammer) "Carlton-bloody-Palmer!!" Case you're wondering how a Northumbrian Man Utd fan knows anything at all about County, my uncle used to live just down the road from the ground. He'd go to the home matches when he couldn't get hold of a United ticket. Apparently that's pretty common in Stockport, Bury etc. Picking up runoff from some of the monstrously huge clubs in the same catchment area.

Yeah, County fans wouldn't like to admit to it but I'd imagine 20% of our home support are City/United supporters on the side.

When Carlton first took the County job he famously said that within ten years he would be England manager... I knew from that day it wasn't gonna work!
