Red Light Lounge/Central - Web Stream

Well for the past few weeks, while everybody was moaning about the quality of what they were getting for free, I always wondered how long the freeness would last. Now we finally have the answer. I guess it's a business at the end of the day.

It'll be interesting to know what percentage of callers were non-Sky web viewers, and how many are prepared to pay monthly on top of call prices too. I guess RLC will monitor that.

I thought I'd mention that your stream which runs on this site isn't working anymore. Maybe your code changes have stopped it running here?

.....Looking at it another way, webstream quality was usually best of them all, but now the quality stream is only available as part of Member's subscription account, which pissed me off a little when I realised Brook Little was making an unscheduled appearance & the webstream was reduced to a pixilating postage stamp, so I'll post some caps later from SKY instead.

Overall I'm not that bothered about the cost, weekly less than price of a drink in the pub & the same as EliteTV site; similarly there is also access to photo galleries & videos of the girls, which will no doubt expand now the site is up & running.

Unfortunately??? I can't subscribe at the moment as I don't have a mobile phone, so will have to wait until the credit card payment option is available.

With the number of other babe channels out there this really is a retarded move. I'm one of those without Sky and so can only watch via webstream.

I called Red Light for the first time last week on two separate occasions. Neither call was particularly great, especially when compared to Fernanda the only other babe I've called on these channels. I was going to give Lucy Sumers a try to make up for the other two lacklustre calls, but any thought I would have had of calling Red Light again has definitely disappeared now

In exactly the same situation, i dont have sky so rely on webstream and at the moment there is only one that is brilliant pretty much 24/7 and that is the one that cannot be named on here.

As for calls to redlight ive found that calling from a mobile is almost impossible to connect, before ive been calling through and blatantly seen that the girl is free yet it says shes on a call so i do the usual wait until shes finished to be put through and just silence, not sure if its a ploy to build calls etc, who knows, i wont join any online services like this for better streams as sky customers get it free so no way am i paying just because i have a different provider, think ill be sticking with the channel that cannot be named as they offer great daytime chat too.

If anyone thinks this is a rant against RLC they couldnt be more wrong, the girls etc are amazing, annie is one of my favourites i just refuse to A pay money to get a stream that i can view full screen and B refuse to call again when it seems the girls dont answer when they are available

I'm in the same position and I won't be taking up the subscription or watch the free webstream.

I've only made a couple of calls and I would imagine that the vast %age of viewers haven't made that many. I understand why you would want to get them to make a contribution.

The trouble is we're not a captive audience. It's not as though we can't get what we need elsewhere. And for those that are callers they're paying £10 pm just so they can make a phone call at very expensive rates.

What we don't know is how many viewers are out here. Is it 1000s, 10000s, 100000s...? I don't know what subscription fee would make the numbers stack up for RLC
What I do know is that, for me, the charge would have to be so insignificant I wouldn't notice or mind for me to sign up. That figure is less than £10

I would pay for it I just hope there's more revealing stuff in the members area

fair point will look if we can do a daily sign up
we have to charge because our new stream is such high quality our weekly costs are huge , the new site is work in progress i think we will improve the free stream somewhat on monday

I find it difficult to understand what they've done.

Appreciate they have a website which requires membership, and theirs is good value compared to some.
But the webstreams should be separate from the members area.
They don't charge £10 a month to watch tv, and haven't significantly reduced the quality of the tv picture for those who don't pay, so how can they justify doing it to the webstreams?
Calls cost £2 per minute whether a member or not and that charge should cover the cost of the stream, the same as it covers the cost of the tv channel.
It is unfair for them to charge webviewers £2 per minute and £10 per month.

Someone said that its a business, which it is, but it's also a rip off and imo shortsighted.
There are a finite number of sky viewers and the numbers pale in comparison to the potential for web viewing, and like it or not, the web is the future of babeshows.
At a time when offcom are flexing some muscle, costs are rising, the division between hc/sc and shows/camsites are blurring, and competition is increasing, I would have thought they should be investing in their web custom and not alienating. Instead they have followed Elite and imposed a severe limit on themselves which will restrict their potential market and discourage new viewers.

Its a shame - what they did with the site and the pic quality was excellent, and I've found myself watching rlc far more often in the last few weeks than ever before - it had almost become the site I checked first...

But I'm an occasional viewer and even more occasional caller - for me, depends on the girls and rlc don't have many 'nice' girls imo (sorry, not into excessive artwork & over inflation). But with this change, they've just turned an occasional viewer into an ex viewer because the quality is dire. There's no point even checking out who's on anymore as the stream just isn't watchable. And there's a lot of choice available on the web.

So conclude that if I'm part of the market they want to catch, the changes to the stream have had the opposite effect. I'm gone.

I'm surprised the webstreams (and even the night shows on TV) are not all subscription only, it seems unfair guys can just sit and watch for nothing while others pay high rates to call in.

I appreciate its a person's choice to call in or not but I'm not really contributing to the channels business if I don't call or pay something to watch.
