[Red rag to a bull threads like this to me! I don't pretend I could run a babeshow for one minute but if I had the chance I'd certainly end up with a operation that was more sympathetic to the average punter than we have now. Apologies for spelling out something of the how so on this, at some little length, below... ]
General approach first...
Mr P would go, along with anything else that doesn't play to the original babeshow USP. The punter should be unchallenged core of his fantasy. No one else need apply.
Blur and curtain shows would also be out, as they're a too obvious piss take to the customer. Any cam show should be able to stand on its own two feet without the need for a 'ha, ha look how we're messing with you' aspect. Frustrating your customers by negative action (no matter the intention) can never be entirely without negative consequence. Anything that shows action is just out of reach has some negative connotations. And as an operator there is no way of knowing how impactful to the customer's purchasing habits these will prove in the longterm.
Certain type shows (lovesense for example) would only be given to babes that would do them honourably. Plus the idea that every single night or web babe will always have a flouresent bit of plastic sticking out her cuff is not an attractive one. As always with ''innovations', use with a sense of balance in respect to overall output.
Attentiveness: The main camera IS the customer in the studio. It is the central focus of every bloke's gaze; it is the founding of his relationship to each babe. On TV with its wider audience, a babe should never ignore the camera, neglect it, or turn her back on it. Every distraction to the babe (from crew or otherwise), every slackness or mistreatment of that connection to the audience is a momentary chance to lose a guy from the girl's feed. A respect for this principle of attentiveness to the visual feeds should be absolute grounding for every babe hired. (Even on a web only show a babe should not take the piss with poor attentiveness to main cam. It's visual images should be part of what is being sold. Otherwise main cams presence is only a restrictive negative one from the customer's pov.)
TV censorship: This has become a strangely integral element of the shows. It is part of what enables the channels to survive in their niche and make money selling away from the gogglebox. At the most those regulations should be gently brushed against. Break the rules and not only do you risk a big fine, you also remove a major reason for a guy to spend. Offer 'free lunches' and no operator will last long. Instead tease should be played to the edge; the boundaries toyed with and thus the audience (in a positive fashion) but Ofcom's tolerance needn't be tested; boundary pushing is not essential to good babeshows.
A more base requirement to me is that everything should be geared to presenting the whole as engaging, fun, and exciting. Guys should feel as if they're missing the best of that if they don't participate but not feel excluded if they can't. Shows should be about encouraging punters to be a functioning, enhancing, part of what's going on; when participation adds to a show it should do so in a positive way that encourages other punters to add into the growing effect. (I question whether there is any more binding feeling for a punter than the idea that he is improving his own shows by taking part in what is created visually onscreen. More babes should learn to forefront that idea. It has a enhancing positivity to it that many interactions can lack.)
In addition, I'd make show information much more prominant to the customer, both on chatbox and onscreen. (OSG's would have times to the babe's next break, the name of the next babe up, times till a perv cam 'event' or a switch over to backstage, etc.). Selected chat comments from punters would be scrolled across the base of the TV screen... The shows live and breath in the moment; viewers need to be attuned to each aspect of that. Structure, not routine predictability, would be the watchword.
A guy's spending should be empowered by his knowledge and the babe-punter relationship made a bond of trust - something where the punter knows exactly the sort of service he can expect each and every time (an honest and thorough experience) - no matter what platform or form of show he's using...
The emphases proposed above are not massive changes to what is output by BS atm. They only aim bolster the best of what they provide whilst dropping the problematic/lackadasical elements. IMO it would represent a tighter, slicker presentation (sets and lighting could sure do with a boost too); a less gimmick-led operation foregrounding greater postivity.
