LIV dangerously - the Saudi tour

"Blubber" Watson the latest LIV rebel. There was talk this week of a 14 tournament tour in 2023, timed not to clash with the Majors.

There's an event on currently in Bedminster, which I double taked about, but it's Bedminster, USA, of course - at a Trump course, no less. Say no more.

Cameron Smith has joined, as had been rumoured for quite a while.

Dustin Johnson seems to have won their Order of Merit equivalent for 2022, with 1 event left he's got too many points to be caught up (he says, repeating some BBC thing he half-read).

LIV golfers are being permitted entry into the 2023 US Masters assuming they meet pre existing criteria.

Surely a major blow for the PGA and DP World Tours.

^^ I've been thinking about posting on this topic, but it would just turn into a massive rant. So many questioned the morals of joining a Saudi backed Tour, many saying they would never join, yet have done an about turn when they see the $$$$$$$$. Rahm was all about the history of the game & the iconic tournaments but he's gone against his values. It's ok because he's doing it for his family, but has previously said he could retire & want for nothing, we are talking mult-millionaire.
The USPGA have had to back down & try to come to some agreement with LIV. Potentially the game as we know it is at risk.
