Chat Girl tv uses part of the old Yorkshire tv studios in Sheffield, so I guess they have high costs in running such an operation.

The rules of what the girls can and cant say have changed since last year, but Demi Scott and Belle were always good for a day time chat.

Too few callers and high costs will mean its no longer profitable to run any business like this.

Exactly I would have called Amanda just now for probably 40 mins odd I expect, but though I enjoy a natter and her company with no 'extras' on offer as a option its just too expensive.....its equivalent to three months on Match.com or half an hour in the massage parlour lol

On the subject of chat girl tv- did you notice the channel did not broadcast at all on Saturday. Sunday was normal service but then on Monday there was no morning show. Not good signs.

Noticed that they just had a loop of premium rate phone commercials.

Also the same ad for Demi Scott, but I haven't seen her at Chat Girl for quite a few weeks now. Has she left?

Yep watch this space but I think your find the clock is ticking on this one unfortunately.

One of the problems being I suppose is they have no night show to supplement income, add that to people like myself and others withdrawing a considerable amounts of day mins a week and there scratching around for a callers a little.

I reckon we'll see some channels or similar make a return though with a web only naughty option for day viewers. The TV would then be pure normal talk as Ofcom want with the spicier option being on line only.

I would happily accept this if this was the nearest we could get to the great days of last year for daytime shows. Plus if the Boudoir babes & Mel and Toni came back. Because the day shows are dead now unless you want to waste £50 a time talking about the weather.

I have to disagree. The dayshows are not dead, even though they are clearly not as they were last year.

It all depends on what you want, what "does it" for you. Personally, i prefer the girls clothed - the sexy teasing from a clothed girl is what "does it" for me. Others, obviously not yourself, must have similar outlooks as people are still calling.

As for "wasting" money talking about the weather et al.. certain girls i suspect may have you feeling this way and whilst i cannot comment across the board, this is certainly not the case with all the girls.

The levels of chat across all the channels is tamer than tame at the moment. The only girl around who is still worth calling during the day is Ruby Summers, the rest are all either dull or completely restrained by the channel. I'm sorry but I have friends and relatives I can discuss mundane day to day details with, I'm only going to spend £1.50+ p/m if I'm getting off and that's just not an option on the daytime shows anymore.

I agree it does depend on what an individual defines as good value, and I wouldn't say they are dead just dead from a DTW perspective.

Like you Schmoo the outfits are not crucial to me either, while I'm not clinical enough to just use the day shows for a DTW and nothing else thats just not me.

But I would still advise anyone that £1.50 a minute is not value for money for a pure chat, there are cheaper alternatives to the same thing elsewhere.

Despite the clamp down on outfits all the channels still give a guy the impression the chat is a bit spicy, I wouldn't care if it was 50p a min but at three times that amount I think people need to be-aware what there getting (or not) for their money, then its their prerogative
