Interesting BBC4 repeat from before Indyref1, in which Jug Ears himself looks at 3 examples (James Boswell, Walter Scott, Hugh McDiarmid) and sees what they tell Scots about themselves and their relationship with the English. I suspect what he really wants is his own Arts series in which he can do his sketches; certainly his interviews would have much greater value if he was sketching the other person at the same time.

The Planets BBC2 final episode of this epic 5pt series saw the final planets explored by Voyager 2(Uranus and Neptune) and the fastest probe ever launched, New Horizons that ventured out towards Pluto, now downclassed as a 'dwarf planet' and beyond for another three years until on New Year's Day 2019 it encountered the farthest thing in the outer system so far Ultima Thule. Terrific series, well explained and presented by Prof. Brian Cox and some stunning visuals.
