When you look back over the last 2 to 3yrs we've enjoyed great nights of Adult entertainment, however at this moment in time we don't.
The question we ask ourselves is why has Ofcom got involved now? any answers on a postcard please lol. Hopefully Ofcom will either be deregulated or finish for good or some other regulating body will take it on, who know's, but as things stand, things can't carry on like this for much longer.

Their is a show on freeview channel 30 called 5 star that had 2 female presenters called some sex show or another and they did show female ejaculation for about 3 seconds,,HOWEVER,the show was repeated in 2011 and it had been removed from the show .The 2 presenters were sex therapists and they had this couple on every week testing sex things and she was an odd speaking thing..I will try to find out the show but as you were on about 2011 being odd its weird this clip was removed in 2011..

At the risk of contradicting myself, Ofcom do love their rules. The Guidelines were only introduced in December. Until then the massive self justifying essays that Ofcom publishes under the guise of decisions every 2 weeks used to refer to every previous decision ever made, or at least the more recent ones. If anything Ofcom come across as a bunch of frustrated wannabe lawyers who think they are building up an impressive body of case law and precedent.

Only they arent. Their own rules say each case is assessed on its own merits because the detail of each broadcast can be different. A pussy flash can be accidental or deliberate, a fraction of a second or several, clearly visible or at an angle.

On top of that the explanations they give are lengthy and seem thorough but look carefully and the terminology is vague, inconsistent and sometimes its difficult to see how the grounds relate to public attitudes that Ofcom derives its authority from. In other words the public outrage seems to come out of Ofcoms own head.

Recently Ofcom published clearer guidelines listing this and that body part and setting times. This was partly because BCAP advertising rules are supposed to be consistent.

But even those rules are unclear. What does gradual transition mean?

Ofcom think they are big grown ups writing legalistic judgements and rule books, but actually they are more like schoolkids playing at being grown ups, lacking consistency and impartiality, justifying decisions they have already made.

Gone fishing

Spot on mate, as you've mentioned, ofcom have bent and manipulated the rules to suit themselves, and have completely disregarded our rights, only to look after there own interests.

RE: Petition
hi guys it seems to me the only way to increase support in this petition is 4 either a high profile babe from one or even several of the restricted babe channels,or a key member of one of the channels hierarchy needs to join this campaign.its seem ironic the most of the world leaders are rejoicing in the passing of a libyan dictator but when it comes to adults being able to watch what they want after 9pm in this country our govt has decided what our limits should be

im always open to positive change

i havent seen a post mentioned at all by one of the babes for months ,and if they have you can bet they have been warned not to get involved in any of it,simply because they wont rock the boat until the purse strings of the callers starts to fall short of their profit margin,if the channels were to be banned all together they would be begging us for a petition to get them back on air , ;(

Yes good truthfull post it seems you can do this but cant do this in the same text sort of thing..Rules are there to set borders of whats right and wrong like in a sports event..You cant really have contradictions because this then voids the rules in the first place.Important

I am highly suspicious as well like they say do anything and your sacked..I know channel 5 UK seem really set on sucking ofcoms bumhole yet they are in the ofcom broadcast bulletin nearly every week for wrong doing..

Did you know most ofcom complaints are laughed at by them they say this in the rules somewhere..They say (ofcom) that most complaints are laughable and simply brushed under the carpet..A lot of my complaints were about Big Brother because there was only 1 complaint one week about big brothers bit on the side and that was ME. They showed male penises doing a nude conga and the presenter said "it might be a bit late to warn but please turn away if your offended by male genatalia"..So i complained and it got this wording..ACCEPTABLE LEVEL OF CONTENT
and the complaint rejected.SO. channel 5 allow male penises with no warning yet female genatalia is a big NO NO..So i give channel 5 what for in an email but they dont respond anymore.
