Liang knocked in a 147 on his way to a 4-3 win; Mark Williams caustically said he prayed for him to get a massive kick on the black after his OTT reaction to getting the pink.

I see there's a new expensive chalk which is reducing kicks, too.

Ronnie sailed through this evening; Mark Allen and Borey Hawkins went out this morning.

Alex Ursenbacher faces Kyren Wilson in one semi-final, with Ronnie against Anthony McGill in the other. McGill is probably the in-form choice, he seems to have done well in several tournaments already this season.

And Ronnie held off McGill to come through 6-4, for an all-English final.
