Came back last week Still very entertaining stuff, thankfully a shade more serious than usual (which isn't saying a lot)

I'm really going off Top Gear now. The 'Star in the reasonably priced car' segment is dreadful these days- full of people plugging their latest album or film etc, instead of just doing it for the craic. I find Richard Hammond one of the most irritating men on TV; Clarkson is funny when he's not trying to be controversial, and James May is the only one that I like (then again I am biased as he used to live around the corner from me). It would be nice if they could focus more on the cars instead of doing expensive, stupid challenges every episode.

i know what you mean. basically they're getting paid very well to do shit off their bucket lists! nice work if you can get it!

i like the races they did between a car and another mode of transport. also buy a car for £100, porsche for a £1500, a coupe for £1500 that is not a porsche etc.

happy to see the direction that Top Gear is going in. The Last of the Summer Wine antics were funny and they helped Top Gear become massive but they were starting to go stale. They have returned to being very much a car show but have managed to stay humerous and entertaining

Ryan Reynolds will be this weeks guest on Top Gear.
