There are rumours of a possible Star Trek 4 movie along side another possible Star Trek untitled movie.

I read something about that earlier today, I'm not liking the fact that they seem to be saying that they'll be focusing on going further back in time, to when and with who are my questions. Kirk, Picard, they've been done to death. Now if we had Star Trek where it focused on other worlds, cool, but I would be shocked if that happened.
I mean, surely they've covered most of early Starfleet enough, and Bad Robot being involved isn't great news either, the movies need to change things, not rehash or reboot.

Not sure I'm too excited by the prospect of a Star Fleet Academy show either tbh, there aren't enough fans involved in making Star Trek for my liking, if there were, we'd be seeing more SNW ideas, that show is what Star Trek needed, Picard was good but could have been better and Discovery, well I liked it, but it's not well liked at all.

That being said....

Having grown up on the original Star Trek, I absolutely loved the Bad Robot Trek reboots - great casting, acting, humour/drama balance, exciting panoramic storylines etc - so if there's another one being touted, bring it on.
I do however understand the desire for progression instead of nostalgia.

Thoroughly enjoyed SNW too - a real breath of fresh air, apart from the musical episode which was pure self-indulgence on the part of a couple of the executive producers imho.
Had to laugh at Jess Bush's thoughts on discovering they were doing a musical episode - "firstly, who's idea was this, and secondly, how do I get out of it?"

Completely argree with Skully's view of Picard. For me, it was hit and miss with an enjoyable first season, a shite "relationship based" second one, and an epic all guns blazing final season.

Although there were a couple of shows in the franchise that I wasn't so keen on, I still think it's fantastic that we have so much to pick and choose from, not like when I was a sprog.

Looks like we might be getting a Top Gun 3, also Tom Cruise has signed a picture deal to make movies for Warner Bros.

It’s being reported that actresses Milly Alcock and Meg Donnelly have both screened tested for Supergirl. The rumour is the character make her appearance in Superman Legacy and then will be in her own movie Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow based on the comics.

House of the Dragon Actress Milly Alcock has been officially been cast as Supergirl.
