If Wilder wins by split decision that will be the most ridiculous result since Horn beat Pacquiao but if anything if Fury boxes clever he could stop Wilder by round 8 or nine

Chris Eubank Jr looks to have brought the curtain down on James Degale's boxing career by getting a unanimous points victory over Degale knocking him down twice (in the 2nd & 9th round) in the process.It's never a good sign when a boxer announces his last/retirement fight beforehand (like Degale did) as they usually lose but Degale looked a faded force against the crude but much stronger Eubanks Jr.Former World Champion Degale was hurt several times by Eubank but held on at times & the silky skills he often relied on in previous fights just didn't seem there anymore in what was a very good performance by Eubanks on his comeback fight where he was previously outclassed by George Groves last year.

Tyson Fury's rematch with Deontay Wilder is off - could be 18 months before they do get together and I suspect it is possible that if Fury wants the rematch to happen he has to fight at least one or maybe two credible American opponents and there aren't that many out there that could give him a good test.

All thoughts are with Frank Bruno as he is admitted to hospital with pneumonia for the second time

In a battle of among two of the best pound-for-pound undefeated boxers in the world Errol Spence put on a masterclass display of punch picking to win every round & retain his IBF Welterweight Title in a landslide points decision victory over 4 -weight world champion Mikey Garcia.Garcia stepping up two weight divisions to challenge for Spence's IBF title proved a bridge too far against a naturally bigger Welterweight in Spence & it showed in a completely one-sided victory where Spence totted up nearly 4 times more punches than Garcia.Only Garcia's granite chin,superb conditioning & heart kept him in the fight.Manny Pacquaio was at ringside where both he & Spence expressed the desire to fight each other next.

Was the bite intentional or accidental? Maybe Ali's next opponent should be Luis Suarez!!

Good to see Fowler put on his arse and lose should knock the cockiness out of him.

Hope Ali never sets foot in a boxing ring again even had the cheek to ask for a re match!!

Couldn't help noticing & reading that AJ's prospective fight in US on June 1st has been called off after his opponent Jarrell Miller failed THREE drug tests and Miller subsequently has had his licence revoked. My guess will be that opponent on June 1st won't be Wilder or Fury..but more than likely Trevor Bryan the No. 1 contender for the WBA belt will get the shot.
