Oh you are such an angel. You will be rewarded in heaven babe.
How refreshing to actually speak with some of these presenters who go out of their way to be nice and help their fans. Far better than some of these bimbos/porn stars/sluts you find on some of the other channels.
Love to you and mel! x

I'm assuming (correctly I hope) you need to get this from a Sky box? If so, the only way is to transfer onto a DVD-Recorder, as the USB port on Sky+ is for future upgrades. Depending on the length of the recording, the size could run into Gigabytes and may or may not fit on one disc (depends on kind of quality you want). The default file type of a DVD is a vob, which is large and not very practical for uploading/downloading.
Ideally, you would convert the DVD into a more user friendly and smaller file type like an avi, which still retains good quality playback. This however, would require software like IMToo DVD to avi converter. Then, depending on who hosts the file for downloading, you might need to split the whole file into parts of 100 or 200 megabytes, as large files take up too much bandwidth. This requires additional software such as HJ Split for example, which the person receiving the file will also need to reconstruct the whole file.
In short, sending the Dvd would be the best way. No offence to the lad that's asking for it, but you might be opening a door that will be difficult to close as more people ask for dvd's to be sent to them too. It's up to you ladies of course, but there's no easy way to do what you want to do.

Not so much uploading rar files etc, but having a section of the website which is a 'best of', so if a certain sequence proves popular then it could be streamed on the site for the following week - Chatgirl TV's own iPlayer!
I know it wouldn't be like a download, but at least those who missed classic moments would be able to see them later.
I really don't think it is as complicated as it has been made out. There are loads of programs to rip the dvd to computer. I am sure the fellas who do the website will be able to assist. Even uploading it to youtube maybe, or putting it onto the http://www.babevideo.co.uk website.

There are, the IMToo DVD to AVI application I mentioned is just one of the many out there. Once the recording is transferred onto DVD, 'DVD shrink' will allow you to rip sections of it at a time, then IMToo can convert those sections to standalone AVI files.
The alternative is to rip the entire DVD, convert it all to an AVI and then split it into smaller pieces for ease of upload/download. It's not necessarily "complicated" as you say, if you have the requisite software and the time to spare. However, it's not a quick process either.
