Never say die, writ large. It's inevitable with canal series that they mention the fact of Birmingham having more miles of canals than Venice, and also that they visit Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, and Liz manages both tricks before signing off. I see Stuart Woodman worked on this series, given he later worked on Canal Boat Diaries too.

Overall a decent enough series.

Some grim stories here, and not just in supporting Aston Villa. I was a bit bemused at how many words seemed unfamiliar to her, but in all seriousness, if most of us had to look at live translation whilst trying to follow what one person was telling us, we'd go spare.
