1.8 The final is held at Stourhead, which is famously picturesque. The contestants get to slightly decide on their own choice of composition, and they at this stage also had commissions to prove what they could in their own time (as one of them patently could not complete in 4 hours). To my relief, the dreadful gimmicky painter didn't get the nod, some tree-lover did instead.
