Angharad Rees R.I.P.

Actress Angharad Rees has died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer aged 63. She starred in the "Poldark" series on BBC. R.I.P.

Sad news. She was also in the Hammer classic "Hands of the Ripper".

Angharad Rees had her main TV and film success in her early and mid-20s and was regarded as one of the "hotties" of her day. Although she had a long career on the stage in classical productions, she was largely out of the public eye by the age of 27 but was remembered for her earlier work long after.

She married actor Christopher Cazenove in 1973 and David McAlpine (of the construction firm) in 2005.

Sad news.. she was a great television and stage actress.
