Transfer Rumours And Done Deals 2012

There is always one transfer saga that drags on for the best part of the transfer window and bores the hell out of everyone.

The stories out there seem conflicting. West sHam have allegedly agreed a fee, but deny it. Liverpool are silent on the matter, however Rogers says that everyone will get a chance to prove their worth, seemingly other then Carroll. Carroll has stated he wants to join a team who is playing in a European competition with ambition, yet he consistently gets linked with West sHam.

It would be nice for someone to release a statement but to be fair, a statement isn't required as all it seems to be so far is speculation.

Couldn't have said it better myself Money_Shot,all this cloak & dagger nonsense is ridiculous.
When transfer speculation about Suarez/Agger & Skirtel came up Rodgers was all over it like a rash shooting it down,poor Carroll must feel like a right cunt knowing his new boss seems to think so little of him all I hope if he does get loaned out he gets his move to Newcastle.

Carroll is obviously stalling - because he's hoping that Newcastle come in for him. As for Fat Sam, he probably would want to play for him and may yet do so, as Allardyce’s direct style of football would suit Carroll's strengths. West Ham captain Kevin Nolan is a close friend too. But his preference is to go home to Newcastle if he can.

Manchester City are trying to sign Daniel Agger as a replacement when Kolo Toure leaves.
Liverpool have so far refused their two offers...

Barcelona are also interested in him.

One? There are loads of them every season. This summer I can think of three straight away: Carroll, Modric and van Persie. All I really care about is whether Wilfried Zaha is still a Palace player on 1st September

To me It's a bit of a myth that Andy can't hold the ball and bring others into play,personally I think he was improving that side of his game at the end of last season.
The deal is Rodgers clearly doesn't fancy him to fit into his tica taca style of play, but clearly he must realise there needs to be a plan b and we need alternative options not just tica taca,you just need to look at the Chelsea Barcelona final to realise that.

my thoughts swansea started season well as most premier teams got caught bout by the style of play...they weakened at the end as most managers had devised a plan to beat their system, you need to be able to mix it up.... Carrol off the bench cud win them many games when his plan "a" is going wro ng!

Zaha's been strongly linked with us(Liverpool) for a while,would be a good signing if we got him,definetly see big things for the kid.

More garbage story's and bullshit transfer rumours doing the rounds this summer than i can ever remember.

Andy Carroll has been withdrawn from the Liverpool squad for their upcoming Europa league match after suddenly developing a minor groin strain.
