Yeah, but I bet Dave Cameron wasn't wearing a transparent leopardskin outfit at the time Are we allowed to say the offending babe's name? Because if it's who I think it is, I knew that was going to be trouble as soon as I saw it.

These Fuckers in OFCOM are only going to get worse. I dont believe they think they are protecting children (who Should Already be in bed) otherwise they would question that fact and report the caller to social welfare services, I think they themselves find it offensive and want to force their own morals and beliefs on the rest of us. If they opened their eyes and ears to how the real world ticks in this age of technology and bothered to ask the question, they would find out that most 12 to 16 year olds have full access to full blown porn on the internet. It does'nt matter how much parents think they can monitor what their children watch, they cannot control everyone else in the playground and there is always one who knows how to get around these things. So what are they going to do. Ban the internet? Ban all images of women who are not dressed from head to toe? Are they going to ban all books that mention any kind of sexual activity. These people dont live in the real world and they pander to people who think like them and them only. They dont care about normal people and they don't want to care about normal people cos then they would be out of a job

You can't trust Cameron with anything besides his too busy with ego and trying to use any event or tv op to make himself look good lol.
"No Clark I know Everything About You, I Didn’t Just Borrow Your DNA, I Have All Your Memories All Your Thoughts......Every Last Twisted One of Them”.
If you ask me if ofcoms bullshit description was actually true then the model in question should be given a payrise for actually giving a fuck enough to put on a decent show for a change. I'm fucking sick of this scum ruling these channels like fucking Nazi's. Fuck David Cameron, fuck Nick Clegg and fuck ofcom. Call this democracy eh................
"Ofcom represents the tyranny of the minority. In the past, those peculiarly oversensitive people who are shocked by funny or irreverent adverts were restricted to writing outraged letters to the local press. Now, thanks to Ofcom, they are deciding what the rest of us can and cannot watch. What about the 60 million other citizens who aren't offended by the word "faggot" or by someone making light of gun culture? We don't count in Ofcom's world."
Now there's a potential ally... Wonder if the Guardian would help fight our corner????????????
Quote from the article (courtesy of the Guardian) "I'm still in a state of shock that Ofcom's announcement last week of a total ban on junk food advertising during kids' TV programmes did not elicit more outrage. You, like me, might not lose any sleep over the fact that McDonald's, Coca Cola and others have been royally screwed over. But that doesn't mean you should cheer on Ofcom. It is a bloated, self-righteous institution whose remit is to censor what it doesn't like and what it thinks we - the thick, fickle public - cannot handle. Give me Ronald McDonald over these grey faceless bureacrats any day of the week"
Reason enough to say that we need to put pressure on the current government to do away with these unreasonable bunch of fuckers
The whole 'protecting children' argument is a frequently used one, that usually gains immediate sympathy as it is an emotive area, but it really doesn't hold much water. Why have a watershed if you still have to 'protect the children' after it? Why not just make the watershed later, say 10pm, kidsafe before, adult friendly after, so everyone knows where they stand (though Ofcom would probably prefer doing away with it altogether so they can apply their own arbitrary interpretations).
Anyhow, an interesting perspective from one of the newly appointed government ministers, in a related area of access to porn via the internet, and whether ISP's should be made to block porn by default (similar to how mobile phone operators block adult content).
Seems the new minister (a woman) actually thinks it is perhaps the responsibility of the parents rather than the ISP's
Quote:The new culture secretary has suggested keeping children safe online should be the responsibility of parents, not ISPs.
Maria Miller took over as culture secretary from Jeremy Hunt last week, as a government consultation on parental controls came to an end - with a 125,000-strong petition in favour of a default porn block submitted to her new office.
Miller said a network-level, UK-wide block on porn was still a consideration, but suggested that such controls should be down to parents.
"I think the responsibility is very strongly with parents to make sure that they really understand how their children are using the internet... to make sure that they are safe,"
Lets all just hope that she tackles ofcom's stance on adult entertainment, I've said this before despite the fact the 900 channels can be blocked anyway, maybe those who are easily offended can phone up SKY and have them permantly removed, anyway at least it's good to hear Maria Miller talking some sense.
Wouldn't it be great for Storm's latest ofcom bullshit to be the very last. The current board at ofcom need kicked off with immediate effect, if they are to stay we need individuals who are are firm but fair, the ITC was in my opinion a right and just regulator.
They hammered Channel 4 with a hefty fine back in 1996 during a broadcast of TFI Friday and quite rightly so as Shaun Rider not only used the F word once but several times despite the fact the programme was airing live at 6PM and yes back then it was never in any question that children would have been watching the show. This is a clip from youtube with the offending footage that took place back then from an era where commonsense prevailed

Sarah Louise 18/06/12:
I don't see why OFCOM have such a problem with this outfit. The programme is broadcast after the watershed, and there are plenty other instances of women showing pokies at earlier times. I think Charlie Dimmock shows more on those daytime gardening programmes.
