Wrestletalk

Seems there is a new programme called Wrestletalk tonight(Sunday) on Challenge TV at 11pm hosted by Joel Ross bringing wrestling fans the latest news, discussions and showcasing Wrestling in the UK and the US.

I don't know about you Mike, but I thought it was fucking shite. The Jericho interview was especially crap.

I didn't mind it. Was interesting see watch a show discussing wrestling that wasn't American. On a budget of £75, it wasn't that bad. The host seems to know his stuff and enjoyed his role, so it made it easier to watch.

For those interested, it's on fortnightly on Sundays.

Nice to see Alpha Female interviewed this week

Also can't help feeling that if you've got Lisa Carrodus willing to come in, you could do a lot more with her than let her "read the news" for 90 seconds, unless that's sourced from somewhere else.

Anyone watching tonight ? Christ almighty that nerd on the sofa is astoundingly irritating. ALMOST as irritating as that twat Katarina Waters/Winter of TNA fame, who has that annoying, fake mid-atlantic accent.

Watching this now.........Awful. Just awful. NOT funny. The host in obviously egotistical and desperate to hog the limelight; the nerd assistant adds nothing and is bland (intentionally or otherwise); and that stupid bint that's about 20 years old is useless. Lame.

Watching this last night, I felt it was a better show than normal, although that's mainly because of the Edge interview.

The basic problem is that the show has to try and be all things to all people, to grab as many casual viewers as they can, not to mention they're following TNA, so have a slight slant that way, but WWE is a bigger deal. Throw in occasional stuff about British wrestling, and trying to talk about latest news (which rarely is) and you've got pot luck.

Still say Lisa Carrodus is hot, though

Seems Challenge has given show second series, made it weekly show rather than fortnightly but cut it from an hour to a half hour show with better production values. Would be interested to know what people thought. I thought it was much better(Hogan interview aside)

It seems to be less of a show now. Going from 1 hour every 2 weeks to 1/2 hour every week isn't an improvement (though I guess they won't eat up the running time with monster interviews that often). That 'question of the week' crap was a bit superfluous, too.

And no Lisa Carrodus any more
