RE: Blu Ray Recommendations
I highly recommend Goldeneye the 2 disc as blu ray steel book, Now this is a Play.com exclusive. Not only is this one of fav Bond films but its cracking looking steel book, not only is there great looking image on front of the steel book but on the back and the inside too. The name Goldeneye title is also embossed too.
The steel book comes packed with the blu ray and dvd version of the film and both versions of the film are uncut. This is great transfer of the film you get a full 1080p transfer of the film its a differently worth the invest over the dvd version, everything does look highly detailed and the colours deep and rich. There is a little bit a grain here and there but nothing to spoil the viewing of the film.
The Sound quality really shines here, you'll benefit here from playing this from a home cinema sound system, you here the beautiful sound track, every back ground noises and you hear all the actors clearly. There's a good set of extras here so you'll be happy with them.
All in all if your a Bond fan and a steel book fan its well worth having this in your collection. Smile.

RE: Blu Ray Recommendations
I highly recommend the Seven the Premium Steel Book, not only is a great movie but its also a nice looking steel book. The Steel Book has the main actors Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt on the front with a white back ground its great image by the way, on the back of the Steel Book its got a great image from the end of the film which i won't spoil but its a striking image. There is inside art inside the Steel Book and its another image from the film, the only little disappointing thing is that its a little hard to see the image because of the red tint.
As for the picture quality this is one of the best transfers from a older film, you can tell great was taken in making this transfer a full 1080p transfer, the colours always look deep and rich especially as the film is dark and gritty in places so colours like black, brown and grey really look stunning showing off the film better then ever and its massive improvement over the dvd version. The picture pretty much flawless, no grain and all the images always looking highly detailed especially in scenes where theres rain and also the nature you see everything in more detail then before.
The sound quality again is top notch and matches the picture, having this hooked up to Home cinema system really benefits this film especially hearing everything in detail and back ground noises again its very impressive.
As for the extras there good handful on here i don't think theres any new features on the blu ray version, one extra i did like was the alternate ending. You also get a UV copy of the film so you can watch it on any device like a computer, smart phone or tablet.
Its worth picking up as Lancelot790 said Amazon is selling it for £9.75 normally its anything between £15 - £22 so its a bargain at that price how long it stay at the price only time will tell so get it while you can especially as the standard version of the blu ray is a couple quid cheaper.

RE: Blu Ray Recommendations
I recommend The Matrix Premium Steel Book, like the other Premium Collection Steel Book this is great looking Steel Book. The front cover has a back ground with with the three main characters on the front and on the back there's image of the main bad guy Agent Smith on the back, also inside theres inside art work from a scene in the film.
The picture quality is crisp and highly detailed and is differently a improvement over the dvd version so much so that i've noticed more detail of certain that i didn't notice in the dvd version, plus the special effects really shine and stand out a lot more in the blu ray version. i did notice a little grain here and there but nothing to spoil the film. The sound quality is a massive improvement you here every bullets, titles breaking, punches you name it having it hooked up to home cinema system really allows the film to shine in the sound department.
As for extras there's tons of it, plus there's ultra-violet copy of film so you can watch it on your computer, tablet or any smart phone your different getting your moneys worth here. Bare in mind that this is the same as the standard edition blu ray that came out and on the blu ray box set only difference here is the Steel Book case and the ultra-violet copy, its the price of £12.99 pretty good as most places are selling for anything from £17.99 - £22 so pick it up while you can if you like Steel Books and also a fan of the movie.

The Bourne Legacy:

A good entry into the franchise which looks fab on blu ray. Great sound and a decent set of extras, of which Capturing The Chaos: The Motorbike Chase is my fave. An essential buy if you like your action movies.

RE: Blu Ray Recommendations
The three Blu Ray Steel Books am about recommend are from one of fav film franchises and thats Mission Impossible films not only great films but all very different and greatly acted by Tom Cruise. I will be reviewing the steel books of Mission Impossible 1,2, and 3. i'll review the design and the film's separately as the quality of the transfers are different.
The design of all three steel books look fantastic, a great design each show casing images from each film on each case on the front and back. All three films also have inside art again showing scenes from film and each steel book is colour coded so the first one is red, second one gold and the third one blue, the title of each film is embossed on the front of case and the steel book is partly glossed will put up pic's of each steel book after the review.
Mission Impossible 1 has a great 1080p transfer a massive improvement over the dvd version a lot more crisp and more detail, where theres scenes where its very light you do see the grain this i guess is due to the age of the film and by the fact that it isn't digitally remastered but never the less it looks better then ever. The sound quality is big improvement, mission impossible theme sounds better then ever now especially when you have it hooked up to a home cinema system its really great. As for extras there a good few on the disc.
Mission Impossible 2 has a better transfer again 1080p, its worth upgrading from the dvd version the action scenes look better then ever now and in even more detail, the colours look deep and rich. There is a little grain here and there but again nothing too much to spoil the film. The sound again is great a full 5.1 digital sound, every from punches and explosions are heard in great detail. As for extras there's a good hand full not as much as the first one tho.
Mission Impossible 3 has the best transfer out of all of them again a 1080p transfer, when it gets right down to the action everything looks crisp and detail especially when theres fast moving action, every looks smooth colours looking deep and rich especially when theres dark colours on screen. There's a tiny bit of grain but nothing too serious to spoil the film. The sound quality is great everything from explosions and the thumping sound track sound great you really benefit from having this hooked up to a home cinema system. As for extras its very disappointing as there's only a couple on the blu ray disc seeing as the dvd version was a two disc and had a load on it.
I reviewed Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol a few months ago again great transfer full 1080p, great sound quality and loads of extras including the dvd and digital copy of the film. I really highly recommend Mission Impossible 1,2,3 as steel books not only are they Play.com exclusives but there £10.99 each a bargain in my book if your a steel book and a fan of the Mission Impossible franchise. A must have in your blu ray steel book collection Smile.
