video bam Issues

What happens when you try to play a video and is it just a firefox problem?

When I click on the start arrow in the video bam screen it disappears and nothing happens. When I try to download, after the required 5 mins I get the message 'Click here to download' and then I get the error message - 403 Forbidden. I get this on Google Chrome and IE and I have no problems downloading from rapidshare, depositfiles,uploaded. Can you help as there are some great videos on video bam at the moment

You're not using a proxy IP are you? The reason I ask is that some sites don't allow downloads from proxy IPs and return the 403 forbidden message you mentioned instead.

No - I have a dynamic IP as it changes every time I switch off my router and then back on again

I have the exact same problem with every browser i try.

hi, I'd just like to say that I am also having a lot of trouble with video bam. dosen't work, gives the forbidden message no matter what I try. encountered the problem just after discovering SmC's recorded conversations thread.

There now appears to be at least 3 of us having the same problem with video bam. I have sent them e-mails but have not had any reply. Is there anyone out there who is able to make contact with video bam and establish what is the problem

I believe that sala had the same problem several months ago, plus others who have posted in this thread about it in the last couple of months.

firstly,i would recommend removing ilivid and all its add ons from your computer straight away. install or update adobe flash player and try viewing or downloading again. also download vlc player and use it to view downloaded content. have a read back through this thread, the answer may already be in here.

I have already deleted iLivid, have adobe flash player 11.6.602.180 and have been using vlc for a long time. video bam is the only one that will not respond, I can even download from the new websites now being used. A bit of a cheek but is there any chance that SMC or Babestation-mad could upload onto a different website

I think it's a Talktalk ISP problem, because I used to have the same issue with video bam but after I switched away from Talktalk the problem went away. I bet those posting in this thread are all Talktalk users.
