His claim to have paid the bill does seem a bit suspicious after he was calling it rubbish and banging on about fighting it all the way.

While the guy is a right plonker I have to say the dayshows are the right 'scam' to reel in a lonely fool like Kev. A least on nightshows you know you want to knock one off and go to bed. On days the girls are there to have a chat, to listen to you and be there for you. Listen to all your problems and give you 'advice'. It's like paying for a friend. Big Laugh For a lonely and desperate bloke like Kev it's like taking candy from a baby.

btw found this on twitter. The comments below the pic are quite interesting

While I don't really disagree, it wasn't all dayshows. 22hrs/day is a minimum of 6 and 1/2 hours on nights. I mean, wtf! Was he on viagra?

Yeah, but they're right. The worst you can accuse them of is being tactless.

Thing that annoys me is, he gets callers a bad name. Loads of us enjoy calling the shows but keep to a budget we can afford (it's got to be healthier than spending it on fags and booze, right?) and don't expect anything from the girls other than a good time during the actual call.
Then, because of idiots like him, we all get labelled wierdos.

Yes I think so too. I see it as them taking some of the blame for allowing him that much credit. Ridiculous.

I used to work at VF, left around 2006. Back then there was restrictions in place that would have flagged this. Obviously not anymore.

If you're brave enough to drop straight back into the menu-go-round after a call you sometimes don't have to wait too long to hear their tact... Blush

Kev's near- constant presence probably granted him some immunity until he turned unpleasant. I'm not alleging that every lady immediately traduces the good name of their last caller, but if the current one chooses to make a comment, they'll display the empathy that we value so much, and agree. Although I do treasure the memory of Emma Spellar's expression, 10 odd seconds after a "weirdo" comment and before she went "Well, yeah..." - the raised eyebrows and slightly quizzical look suggested "Sanest caller I've had all week..."!
