You haven't got any time for the theory aired in this thread then that kev is a vulnerable adult with a genuine problem who shouldn't be ridiculed for what happened but should be given the sympathy and help he needs?

The sage continues to play out, so I fancy we'll be dicussing it until the issue is resolved to Kev's satisfaction or raised in a bankruptcy hearing. The latest published news doesn't make it clear who approached whom concerning an update: there are just a few new quotes from his MP.

Today they published this story on page 8 of the Leicestershire Mercury:

"MP to help £90k bill man

it is called the leicester mercury not the leicesterhsire mercury, the online edition is called thisisleicestershire.co.uk

it is fucking annoying to know that has a vodafone customer iam paying to have his 90k bill to be written off. in the pics he has an iphone (probably about £20 a month minimum depending what is on the contract) and arsenal tracksuit (about £40) so if he can afford those items while being unemployed then he should be able afford to pay off a large chunk of the bill he racked up. absolutely no sympathy for this guy, it is almost theft. if you stole 100k from someone you will face a prison sentence.

I'm a bit late to this story, but I don't unerstand why this guy is refusing to pay a single penny of the bill when he admits it was "partly" his own fault?

Because it is a great big contrived piece of fucking story telling made up by someone who needs publicity for whatever reason that may be. We all know that politicians are not the brightest of people at the best of times. But for fuck sake, come on! what MP would back someone who admits that he is responsible for a third of is debt, but is adamant that he is going to pay "fuck all". And it as to get you thinking, Why is Money Bang so deeply concerned?

Maybe he agrees with Kev that the money grabbing channels are the real villains of the story?
