Tabloids I agree. Magazines, well that depends on the sector of the market you're looking at. However there are far more areas a model can work in than these two.

I agree talent isn't enough. Hard work, dedication, a fair amount of luck and reputation go a long way. Just because someone upsets you doesn't mean private details go public. It's a cheap buck, simple as.

Stewartie, think about what you've just said and some of the people likely to read this that haven't done any of the 4 options above and still managed to be successful. Foot in mouth methinks

You seem agreed on tabloids where reputation doesn't matter a damn and editors are only interested in girls that are sellable commodities, preferably with some of the items I have mentioned attached to their name.
The same applies to most magazines but I agree there are exceptions.
Private details go public all the time. Its all part of the "game".The public at large don't like to admit it but they are fascinated by gossip and lap up kiss and tell no matter how shity it may be. If they didn't these sort of publications wouldn't exist.
Relatively few girls make a living out of modelling. Some may be lucky enough to be taken on by a major brand company but in the present climate this is becoming increasingly rare,
Its not surprising there are many "models" now on babe channels. The only reason they are there is because it generally pays some reasonable cash in the short term.

At the end of the day it doesn't really matter nobody got hurt it,she didn't exactly go into any gruesome details todays newspapers are tomorrows litter tray linings.Then again prehaps i'm biased because i like Summer and DJ Limpdik..er i mean Ironiks music makes me want to physically rip my ears off and shove them so far up my arse that i'd have to open my mouth too hear.

Fair point but why is the "News of the Screws" or "Screws of the World" still the biggest selling British newspaper and the highest circulation English-language newspaper in the world??
