i have quite a lot about smallville one story line which would have been great to see, and the writer were considering, was virgil swann being revealed has clark/kal-el's biological farther jor-el with the story line that he managed to get to earth has a consequence losing his powers and being paralysed but very sadly christopher reeve died before this could happen. dr swann knew so much about clark's origins and kept clakr's true identity to himself which would make sense for this possible story line to happen.

i was reading that on the final ep of smallville when clark and lois almost get married that Superboy was meant to be there but the actor was unavailable as he was filming on another show.
