RE: Non callers entitled to criticize
Of course non callers should be entitled to criticise as long as it does not end up being personal, the channels are more than likely gonna be bad which gives reason for deterring people from calling to which they rightfully go on to criticise them

I think everyone's asking the wrong question in this thread. It's not whether a non-caller is entitled to criticise that should be point in the issue, but whether they should expect their criticism to be taken seriously.

RE: Non callers entitled to criticize
I think I should start a thread called 'non callers entitled to praise'. Because ironically some critics who preach they're entitled to criticize feel they have more rights to an opinion than those who praise them.

EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion about the channels.

I don't use public transport because i think it's shit.

If i write to my local Bus company and say something like "Dear Sir, i see your crappy buses passing me every day, your service is shit, please sort it out. PS i never use them", how seriously would i be taken ?

Not very, methinks.

Only 3 things in life are certain. Death, Taxes and lesbians will never look how they do in porn movies.

In that case your problem is with people using those crappy buses.

I don't like the bus (censored night show), so I don't use that service (I don't call). But I'm entitled to say that the service is shit and people are crazy to use it!

No pussy, no calls.
That's my rule.

If WE ALL followed that rule, BabeChannels would finally end with their crappy night shows....
Cool

But people like crappy shows... as people like crappy buses.
Cool

And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make.

EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion about the channels.

The same principle applies to both praise and critcism which I eluded to towards the end of my initial post Wink.
Should all those who are unable or unwilling to pay £1.53 pm be denied the opportunity to criticize or indeed offer praise? In my view the answer is no.
So yes EVERYONE is entitled to their opinion about the channels AND the ability to express it on forums such as this.

The point about how seriously all opinion is taken is a very valid one.
All I would say is that there have been countless ideas on how shows could have been better or how they can be better in future made by various posters throughout the history of this forum.
These are, I like to think, attempts to be constructive rather than overly personal and give food for thought. Some viewers are callers and some might be potential future callers. I would therefore suggest that to dismiss constructive criticism or indeed constructive praise out of hand would be counter productive.
The rather personal criticism though is a very different matter and can sometimes be rather distasteful.

As for the point about people who preach the right to criticize thinking their right to an opinion is greater than those who offer praise............... well speaking personally I value the opinion of everyone on here even when I vehemently disagree with it.
No doubt there are some who are perhaps guilty in the respect you have outlined.
I can only hope that I am not seen as one of them but there you go.

Opinions make the forum whether they be positive or negative.
Anyway thats my lot for now on this thread until another post comes along that makes me feel compelled to respond Wink.

Don't worry snookered, you wasn't one of the usual suspects on my mind Wink

For the record, with a few exceptions I think that the general standard of shows lately have not been very erotic. Which is why I haven't been watching them that much lately, never mind calling them.

But if people still get pleasure from them, then it's all good for them as far as I'm concerned.

RE: Non callers entitled to criticize
On a slightly different note I have heard many an on screen babe say words to the effect of
"If you don't like my show and want me to do something different ring me and tell me. Don't just sit there and moan on the forums".
As a regular caller to the shows I did exactly this last night for this reason and asked the on screen babe (who will I will save the embarrassment by keeping her nameless) to do something on her show that I had seen her do countless times on previous shows.
I asked very politely and she said No. I asked why?
She said she did not feel like doing that tonight.
I promptly put the phone down.
How on earth these babes have the temerity to complain that non callers are criticising their shows and that they should ring up in order to get the on screen babe to do what the caller wants is beyond me when they seem not even willing to satisfy regular callers to the shows such as myself.
If I turned up at my workplace and was asked to do something that I had done relatively routinely for some time only to reply with "No sorry I don't feel like doing that today" something tells me I would be given pretty short shrift.
Anyway that's one babe who I will not be ringing again.

RE: Non callers entitled to criticize
I felt it was time to revisit this thread.
There seems to be an ever stronger culture of babes seeming to think the only people allowed to express an opinion on them or their shows are those that
(A) are positively gushing in their praise
or
(B) Those that call the shows

I do rather feel there is an element of these babes wanting to have their cake and eat it.
Performance should be equally open to praise AND criticism by ALL.
Many of my reasons for this I explained in my opening post of this thread.
Criticism of performance and all aspects that lie within it is imo fair game.
So.......... same old outfits, same old set choices, same old positions, same old expressions, same old phone waving, clock watching and lack of movement are all FAIR GAME.
I would not construe any of this type of criticism as overly personal.
But the impression I get from an increasing amount of babes on the channels is they are taking criticism personally.
This is a shame and not a realistic reflection of forum opinion imo.
We want all the babes to put on fantastic shows.
None of us set out to be miserable old sods determined to find every conceivable flaw under the sun.

Now there are grey areas such as extended naughty hours, who should be doing them, what the expectation levels should be within them and whether they should vary from babe to babe and channel to channel but this is a slightly different debate that opens up many a can of worms Wink.
Save that for another day Rolleyes Wink.

However criticism of performance is generally NOT overly personal.
If I were to call Babe A something horrible and demeaning that would obviously be bang out of order. To criticise her show with reasoned argument is anything but horrible and demeaning. An effort is being made to help the babes improve performance by eradicating obvious performance deficiencies. This should be seen as healthy imo and not in any way as just another non caller cheap shot or jibe.
So please please lets have criticism treated as an opportunity to prove the doubters and the critics wrong by virtue of better performance rather than to allow the critics all the more room for criticism by virtue of not being prepared to accept it.

RE: Non callers entitled to criticize
If making frequent calls gives us more opinion rights then the guy that worked up the £90,000 phone bill should join this forum and be officially declared as God.
If we read into this angle of view too much we could in fact take it even further to ridiculous heights, who phones the most and therefore now has the rights to the loudest voice.
It simply doesn't work this way and nor should it.
It's like saying someone who has unfortunately lost their job and is no longer paying tax can't vote? It's nonsense.

As for not phoning the shows in relation to criticism, the two go hand in hand anyway, if the show is shit you don't bloody phone do you? To be hypothetical, you wouldn't buy a product you don't like to obtain the rights to tell the manufacturer their product is shit? If you cared enough you'd simply tell them what to change to make it a worthy investment for you and possibly others.
