Firefox problems

New Firefox v3.10 is out today. I am using it now.

Hey up firefox updated to 3.10

right, i've just started using this, i want to know what add-ons are good/worthwhile using. any suggestions?


next i kept getting page load errors, is there a common fault that causes this? what's the solution?


requet to mods, could you leave this here for now till i get some replies.then merge it with the other thread if required

I get this page load errors...address not found businesss all the time Chuck, drives me mad. It usually happens if I have left the computer alone for awhile.

try checking your windows firewall, i found the internet explorer was ticked for an exception (or something like that in the settings) i selected firefox as well and it seems to have helped.

Selecting add-ons is much a personal preference depending on what you use Firefox for. However having said the THE selling point for firefox for me (yes I know IE can add it as well) is Stumbleupon

As for page loading errors...details. Saying you have page loading errors is like saying my car doesn't go. Is it just intermittent? Specific sites/times? What security s/w are you running? Do other browsers work? What is the full message? Does Firefox safemode work?

Come on guys. Some of us on here try to help but need to be a bit more specific

the load errors turned out to be a firewall issue with mine, i got that sorted.
