RE: Babestation on Freeview channel 33
Hi guys. I thought i would try an experiment last night. I was on my PC doing various things and from 9.00pm flicked in and out of Babestation 1. I saw Geri, Donna Duke and Dani O'Neal performing. Then I guessed that they would be on the Freeview show which I have recorded (and watched later) since it started. I then wondered what happened at 12.00am (Midnight) when the Freeview show started. I stayed up and watched it happen. Its much as I expected. The Babestation show carried on with Donna Duke on and Geri said that they would go for a break for one and a half minutes. So Donna Duke was onscreen in a skimpy bikini and then Dani O'Neal and Donna Duke appeared on the couch fully dressed and when given a sign (by the producer?) re-introduced the show as if from the beginning. It seemed strange but I dont know how else they could do it. So presuming this happens each night I might be able to find out who is on the Freeview show before it starts. This could avoid the need to record each nights programme just in case my favourite girl/s just happened to be on. The schedule on the Babestation website continues to be a work of fiction;yesterday Camilla was supposedly on on her own! I'm still waiting for MORGAN!!!!! I just thought this was interesting although probably not a foolproof system.Has anyone else tried/noticed this?

well they always have 3 girls per night and it doesn't change halfway, its 1 whole show and only half of it is aired on freeview, they just re-do the intro at midnight, its always been the same 3 girls that start any 9pm that are on til it ends at 5.30 (tho usually 1 girl ends at about 2 or 3) so the fact that whoever is on at 9 will be on the freeview is a no brainer.....

the babestation website schedule hasn't actually been right in about 6 months, they just don't update it, no idea why.

actually, think it might be for the £1.50 text to get a schedule he told me about a while back, but wasn't sure so didn't say originally

I'm still enjoying watching camilla & anna on it so i have no complaints.

So, '$ky only' BS has not been brought down to the same, dismal level of Freeview?

Its not just babestation, none of the shows, tv or web, seem to have accurate schedules.
Some are not correct even when the girls are actually on screen.

Censorship, until midnight, babestation is the same its always been, but once on freeview, cellcast have tightened the rules for a bit, just until all eyes watching are seeing they are towing the line, its easing in to the usual fullblown babestation, just gotta have patience. see camilla's quote here - http://www.babeshows.co.uk/showthread.ph...#pid131906

thewatcher, yea i knew it was all of the tv ones at least, wonder why they keep the schedule on there!!

RE: Babestation on Freeview channel 33
NB: This following is just a collection of thoughts, opinions, expression of frustration etc. – I fully appreciate that the broadcaster is perfectly entitled to do whatever they wish (within ‘Ofcon’ rules of censorship), and that these channels do not cost the viewer anything, and that nobody is being forced to watch.

Frankly, I don't buy this 'cautious approach' explanation for how poor recent Freeview launches have been, or that the girls are restricted by Ofcon’s rules, for a number of reasons (I acknowledge that others have suggested at least some of the following in other posts):-

Late era PG was much better than PL or, worst of all at the moment, BS, and PG was on Freeview, so why is there any need for a 'cautious approach'? Was PG deemed unacceptable by the broadcast censor? Also, as PL started only a few days after PG ended, why would similar content suddenly risk greater complaints or broadcast censor wrath?

The type of people who complain about such channels are those whose raison d'être seems to be to moan about anything & everything they don't like, in an effort to stop others from enjoying it; the mere existence of these channels is likely to send them apoplectic, so a gradual easing in of content is not going to placate them in any way, and therefore, have no impact on reducing the likelihood of complaints.

Also, does 'Ofcon' (no, that's not a typo) make a distinction between satellite & terrestrial? I thought it was only between FTA & encrypted?

As far as I can see, this is a commercial decision by the broadcaster - if we are to assume, for the sake of argument, that PG is as ‘less soft’ as it can get of Freeview (or any FTA channels, if there is no satellite v terrestrial distinction), due to broadcast censorship, if the broadcaster started a new channel at the same level, as time passes and interest wanes, they would have nowhere to go, other than to introduce new babes; if, however, you start ultra tame, the fact that you have scantily clad babes on screen is going to guarantee an initial audience, then, when interest wanes, you can start improving content, thus extending the useable lifespan of the channel, in terms of revenue generation, which is what it’s all about, of course. The fact that, as far as I am aware from posts on this forum, there is only a single broadcaster of babe channels on Freeview, also means that there is no competition, so no incentive to provide decent, boundary pressing, content from the ‘get go’.

Yes, the girls may be restricted by rules, but these are imposed by the broadcaster, not Ofcon, in this instance, I would suggest

Because it was a new channel number - and many people automatically look at new channels to find out what kind of type of channels they are exactly.

I hope this has made things clearer.
