That is true although that was supposed to be a limited offer, i.e. limited to a certain number of minutes, and you also had to register to get the free minutes rather than just call in.

Yes you could, until they managed to figure out that people were doing that. It might seem obvious to you or I that people would take advantage like that, but that company was slow on the uptake.

The Call-Fees price war will see more channels go bust and quality fall further.

I don't think so. channels will only lower their prices if they feel it will bring in more calls and money than they do now. also won't really affect the quality unless the person calling the babeshow isn't good

The most resilient channels/companies will survive a price-war as in any sector, but the marginal players will die. Already seeing in happen.

Quality - price per call drops: surprise surprise, compression up and bandwidth down and screen resolution down. Lighting reduced to save electric bills. It is all there happening before our eyes.

For me I think Sunday 24 November was a dam good night for a long while..
