I have to find out about the storylines when watching them otherwise for me theres no point!

i've just seen the first 20 minutes of season 7 and i think it looks awesome. can't wait until next month.

Its a really great opening with a lot of promoise, hopefully the whole season will be as good as that

not really. remember they had a whole extra year to come up with something. we have just the same thing as we have had before.
new chloe and edgar characters.
jack being screwed over by the government only to be asked to help them out even though he will be facing jail even if he saves the world.
new too hot women working for the ctu replacement.
new time lapses - they kidnapped this guy at about 2 mins in. from he was kidnapped to the end of the 15 minutes he has been tortured so much that he has had his nails ripped out of his right hand (funny thing to do if you want this guy doing complicated work for you)

this show really should have ended at the end of day 6

Sort of - Jack gets released from prison in China, nuclear explosions, lots of family issues, Chinese, Russians, Arabs, a bit of everything really.

actually that was season 6 not season 5
