In response to earlier in the thread, the MGMT album is definitely one of the albums of the year and you'd be hard pushed to find a better single than Kids. Saw them live twice, the first time in a small venue was awesome but the second time at T in The Park they were dogged with sound problems and it was a little disappointing overall. Still a good band though.

As for what I'm listening to at the moment, I'm having a bit of an Ash renaissance and listening to all my favourite Ash songs from over the years. They always make me smile.

I loved 1977 - one of the best debut indie albums ever (along with I Should Coco) but feel that nothing they've done since has been as good. Anyway, you've inspired me Rivers - going to do and dig 1977 out now
