As you know, I'm going through my DVDs one by one and ripping them to mp4.
I have bought an external HDD to store them all on.
I can rip them 10x faster than I can upload them.
I've already ripped about 50+ DVDs but have only uploaded from about 10 of them, and I'm not uploading all the footage from the DVDs either, just some clips.
Probably less than 20% of footage is uploaded.
Anyway, After I have ripped the DVDs to mp4, I no longer need to keep the DVDs.
They were just going to go in the bin, but then I thought that maybe some of you guys on here would like them instead.
I am not looking to sell them and make any profit, but I am willing to post some out if you can cover the costs of P&P maybe. I am slightly worried that this might be illegal, in which case, I wont do it. If anyone knows, please explain.
It just seems a bit of a shame to put them all in the bin.
any thoughts on this?
I accidentally formatted a hard drive with a couple of thousand babeshow videos on it. Fortunately I'd kept all the original DVDs so nothing was lost (except all the time that went into editing, encoding etc). My advice would be to keep the discs but if you do give them away make sure you have back-ups for all your files.

i have 4 x 2TB hard drives about 80% full....Ive just ordered a new 8TB hard drive to back up the 4 drives on to, so its all super safe. I have no need for the DVDs, but thanks for the advice though.
