If your brother wants to make a name for himself perhaps he’d like to do pro bono work on a suitable case? Maybe your prosecution for soliciting the services of a babeshow girl by persuading her to use pervcam etc?
Firstly my brother doesn't need to make a name for himself - he gets named in the papers enough when he does court cases.
Secondly, as I said, most of the activities themselves are not illegal, just that legally they are defined as pornography (which is not illegal unless it depicts one of those activities that are defined in the relevant Acts of Parliament) and prostitution (which contrary to what many think is not illegal unless done in a public place which a TV screen isn't).
The comment about the stations roles came about during a conversation after one of the girls complained that she was a model not a porn star, and immediately after that she had a tweet advertising some sexual content on only-fans.
Like most barristers my brother wouldn't get out of bed unless someone was paying him vast amounts of money.
Anyway he likes to watch some of the girls as much as I do, so can't see him wanting to do anything about it

I should point out that none of those activities is illegal, unless they offend Offcom.
However it could be argued that BS/S66 etc are acting as pimps and their studios are brothels (which is illegal)
(Information supplied by my brother who is a QC)
Your brother's opinions do not appear to be legally sound. Take the case of a lap dancing club. You say above or your brother says that when girls openly ask for payment, "Let's go Private" etc, they are soliciting and engaging in prostitution. So when a lap dancer in a lap dancing club asks someone to have a lap dance from her that must equally be an act of prostitution.
The problem is that nobody can run a lap dancing club unless the local council has granted them a SEV license (sexual entertainment venue license). Since brothels are illegal in this country it's hardly likely that a council would give them a licence to operate. On the contrary, any evidence of prostitution taking place in a club results in a licence being cancelled.
It seems clear that in the eyes of the law a lap dancing club is not a brothel, but in fact a provider of sexual entertainment, which is why the licence they require is called a sexual entertainment license. The position of BS/S66 etc studios is surely the same - they don't operate as a provider of prostitution services, but as a provider of sexual entertainment.

If I’m ever in trouble with the law, I won’t ask your brother to be my QC as this is utter nonsense.
If things like pervecam, going private & the vibratoy were classed as soliciting & prostitution then the babeshows wouldn’t even be on the air & the police would be getting involved.
Likewise if the s66 & the other shows were seen to be brothels, they’d be closed down

As you say prostitution is not illegal, however what makes street workers illegal is not that it is in public but the soliciting, which is going up to cars and asking if they are looking for sex, solicitation laws only applies to physical acts of sex between 2 or more parties, therefore webcam is not covered as there is no physical contact between the parties, and technically neither is lap dancing unless they are offering extras. The only thing that makes brothels illegal is if more than one person works there (which is when they legally become brothels). So a lone escort working from an apartment is fine, however if they have a receptionist or another escort at the same premises it is then deemed a brothel and illegal

RE: Babeshow or porno?
Fantastic thread, personally I think a lot of the girls are more attractive when their clothes are on,
Lori Buckby springs to mind, she gets on the set and looks hot in her underwear, then 2 minutes later she's naked and sadly I'm bored and switch off.
But Atlanta Moreno hmm, I think she looks better without clothes than with them on.
That said, Poppy May, she looks amazing with or without clothes.
To summarise, the question would most likely get a different answer for each individual girl.
