HOLY SMEG!! That was without doubt up there with the squeakiest of bum times ever! Unbelievable!! What a player Ben Stokes, from villain last year(arrested for affray in the street) to HERO this year. I've never even heard of a super over, it sort of like extra time in Football but a lot more on the blood pressure(thank god I take pills for that) That was amazing, I feel for the New Zealanders but 27yrs ago England last made a final and lost but this time we finally win a World Cup - don't think I've ever been on tenterhooks like that even in a Ashes game. Well done ENGLAND, knighthoods and other plaudits all round

Must admit I’d given up on England when the Buttler & Stokes partnership went and England were basically needed over 10 runs an over. So well done to England to comeback from the dead to get their first cricket World Cup.

What a year Ben Stokes has had. Looked like his England career was done after his fight outside a club & now he’s the hero.

Did he say, " So long as he wasn't too cooked" or have I misheard.

Yeah he said too cooked meaning as long as stokes wasn’t exhausted

An amazing game, what tremendous drama. I think England winning on boundary count was a bit artificial though. If wickets had been counted, as they used to be in the event of a tie, then New Zealand would have won.
