Stargate SG-1
Better late then never with this series, I liked the movie but never watched the series when it first aired on tv. So after ten seasons and few TV movies I took a chance on the series and I gotta admit am really enjoying it. I really like the first season which I watched last year on dvd and am a couple Eps into the second season. What I love is the chemistry with all the actors also how the eps can be light hearted and fun with a little a comedy but it can also get dark and serious and through in a few twists and turns. I regret not watching the show when it first aired all those years ago.

It’s a huge testament as to why it lasted Ten seasons and I can see why.

Loved SG-1 and Atlantis, bought the box sets as soon as they became available. Even with the cast change up near the end, SG-1 was great.

Let's forget about Universe, lol, that had real potential but ended up being a failure, too much spaceship, not enough stargate. If they had kept the formula of the others, (filming style and so on was a bit different) and binned off a couple of dud actors/characters, it would have been great.

One of my fav eps so far of season 2 is the Ep called The Keeper guest starring Dwight Schultz Murdock from The A Team or Barclay from Star Trek Next Gen. The team visit this world and get trapped in this virtual reality machine and Dwight Schultz is playing the keeper his so off the bonkers in the Ep played the role really well.

Yeah it was a great show. I think Atlantis was slightly better than SG1, but that's being picky.
Universe was a bit of a turkey though. Voyager did the Lost in Space thing much better.
Last few series of SG1 were a bit weird for me as I was working my way through Farscape at the same time Rolleyes
