Currently playing/enjoying/hating

Playing a few games at the minute, but the main one right now is Link's Awakening for Nintendo Switch. I got the limited edition delivered on Thursday and will post pics of it later.
I only played the original Game Boy version a little bit, but am really getting into this remaster. Looks so nice & shiny now

A demo for Ori and the Blind Forest just came out, so I want to try that later, too. I've heard really good things about it.

Ori is great, BUT insanely difficult platforming sections on occasion, so I had to pause it and select 'easy mode' to my everlasting shame.

Very tempted to buy a Switch lite via my Argos card as it's got a pay off in 12 months with zero interest option.
Links Awakening looks great, but it's Breath Of The Wild that I always feel I'm missing out on.

Thanks for letting me know about Ori. I love the art style, so hopefully I'll like the gameplay, too.

A Switch Lite would be perfect for Link's Awakening. You could always get Breath of the Wild at a later date.

P.S. There's nothing wrong with playing on easy mode

Garou: Mark of the Wolves

The (to date) final installment of SNK's Fatal Fury series of Fighting Games. Only returning character is Terry Bogard in a short-lived redesign that I really liked, and most notable for introducing Rock Howard who has now become part of the King of Fighters series.

Think of it as SNK's Street Fighter III in that it introduced a new generation of characters over bringing back old guys.

Virtua Racing “Sega Ages” Nintendo Switch

Played the arcade version as a kid none of the home versions have been perfect till now, not only is totally arcade perfect but it’s better then then arcade version. It’s on sale in the Nintendo Switch eShop.

Found the demo terrible.

Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2

Yet another fighting game.

All I'll say is, Capcom need to contact the graphics team at Arc System Works, and make them do Street Fighter 6 because the graphics in this game are AMAZING. It's all cel-shaded polygons and it really looks like a hand-drawn anime (they also made DragonBall Fighterz), especially with instant-kill supers like this:



And yes I did deliberately pick the one with MASSIVE cans. It's legit my favourite of these, though.

Mortal Kombat 11 Trial Version

To be honest disappointed with it I think it’s backward step from the previous two, it’s feels slower and controls sluggish and the AI even cheaper then usually and this is coming from someone that’s played all the games in the series. Overall it’s a better package then Street Fighter V and when they release the complete edition of the game it will be even more worth it.

Finally bought Overwatch on PC

Been watching OW players on Twitch for a while wasnt sure my PC could cope ( an old AMD FX black chip and RX460 ) but Plays it very well

Although using PS4 controller as im useless on KBM for gaming
