New Year's Day eh? I had hoped that there might be a Christmas special before hand, but not long to wait for it so I shall wait patiently and hope it is worth the wait...saw a trailer for it, but tried not to watch too much or it would be spoilt!

Not having read or watched anything in advance, the "O" thing surprised me.
It passed the time for me better than a lot of the last series.
There is something intrinsically funny and anti-climactic though about reaching for the epic with clips of action over various parts of the world, subtitled "PACIFIC OCEAN" etc , only to finish with "SHEFFIELD, YORKSHIRE".
Marvel Universe it ain't.
Which is a good thing.
But it seems to be trying to be.
Which is the problem ?
