Things you could do once, but can't now

I can’t climb trees anymore either. The ability to do so, which was once second nature, and we’re talking big oak trees here, has completely deserted me. Not only that but even if I did still have the capability, my bottle has gone as well. That in a way is more depressing.

Watch the little white dot on your televison screen slowly disappear as you unplugged it.

Find empty drinks bottles(yes we were into early recycling years before it became the norm) and take them to a newsagents to get money back for them.

Phone up a radio station(or write in) for a mention or a request. Now it's a bloody SHOUT OUT!! or if you want to be really street BIG UP!

Name every car on the road because they all had their own look and character, as opposed to today where they all look the same and characterless.
