Do you have any links to last years accounts, because it's last years accounts that you were talking about, not the year before that

Were you actually talking about the financial account records made up to 31 December 2018, and not last years financial records ? (made up to 31 December 2019)

The accounts to Dec 2019 aren't due to be filed until September.
Yes, i know, iv'e been giving links to this info and site for quite a while, i couldn't resist pulling BarrieBF's leg after reading what he said about last years accounts .
That's why i asked to give a link to the accounts up to December 2019, already knowing that the accounts for 2019 aren't due until September.
It's just me with my mischievous head on .

PS, iv'e just noticed i got BarrieBF and marlow mixed up in my replies lol

i looked at the accounts for 2018 for prime time Media if they had a sanction/fine by Ofcom at that time, would that have to have been declared on the balance sheet to Companies House?

The company that Ofcom found in breach was 914 TV limited, not Prime Time Media, 914 TV Limited handed it's licence back to Ofcom back in March, info here

PS, click on the link were it shows March 2020

Which is the same reason that Babestation have dropped channels.

Yes it's online where the channels make money these days. I mean that's where the potential exists.

If it's still here in December I'd be surprised, but I would say it depends on what the bosses discussed and what was the outcome of that meeting that Brooks mooted about.

It will last as long as they think it's worthwhile to run it.

Since they changed their website url to s66cams rather than studio66tv we've known which way the wind was blowing, so I guess that if they decide they don't even need one tv channel it won't come as a big surprise.

Another indicator that TV is not their priority may be found by checking their Talent tab.
'Want to work on the UK's most prestigious cam platform' they say.
There's no mention of 'Come and be on national television'.
Hell they even mention being in their magazine!!

I think leaving Sky or Freeview is daft.
Without they're just annother Chaturbate or Stripchat or whatever and presumably a very small one, Prestigious, what's prestigious about them? Well for one thing it's that they're on one national free to air TV network and one global pay per view one. When the worlds ending people tune into the BBC...On TV.
Another way I look at it is to think about nuclear arms. To sit at the big table. With the superpowers, you have to have them.

There is the possibility that it's just terminology, jargon. Potential recruits know about 'cams'...'I've bin webcammin' they say, so the studio talk in those terms. At the end of the day the studio technology is the same.
I've heard the same argument about Formula 1. They've taliked about how viewers watch on their X-box or their phone or whatever but yet TV's still king.

Without doubt, to leave TV would surely be a massive decision because I would think once you're out getting back in would be difficult. Winsaw suggested you can't just restart and I would think much of society wouldn't want a 'sex channel' back

yes they have been trying to get people on the webshow for some time, but it was the financial issues they had around the turn of the year that really pushed this along, 66 came close to winding its self up and restarting as a new company , in the end things got better but they still followed there more aggressive idea of losing 1 channel, 914 is a whole different thing and not planed for in the time period i am talking about,

It's all just speculation. By both of you.

Balance sheets only tell half the story and are not necessarily an indication of profitability.

It's worth noting that a long term creditor, to the tune of £230K, appeared on the balance sheet in 2016 and has remained there up to the most recent set of accounts.
Again we can only speculate, but it looks a lot like a loan account of some sort. If it is, and it was called in last year for whatever reason, it would make things very sticky for them.

So, without an up to date set of accounts, neither of you can say with any certainty what sort of shape they're in
