RIP Frank Worthington

Great player, one of football’s Mavericks. Never really fulfilled his potential. I wonder how his career would have turned out had he not failed his medical which trashed his move to Bill Shankly’s Liverpool in 1972...seems he failed it twice because of high blood pressure.

One of those players who had an all too brief England career but was a great player with flair and an eye for goal RIP Married to Page 3 girl Carol Dwyer..
