Ex-forger Shaun Greenhalgh tries to recreate various antiquity-type things, under the inspiration of Dr Janina Ramirez. Some of the precious materials are hard to come by, and his silver comes from US dollars.

2 - Alabaster Carving
Shaun is quite pleased with his genuine Nottingham alabaster. Less so when most of its breaks off. He substitutes Spanish alabaster for the figurines, with the original piece for the background. Janina loves it.

3 - Ceramic animal plate
Shaun soon realises he can't use real frogs and snakes, so buys plastic ones. Otherwise, a fine bit of work, reminded me of long ago pottery lessons (only far more accomplished).
