Custom Videos

Some years ago I bought a custom video which I've recently noticed being sold on ManyVids and for a lot less than I paid for it. Is this normal practice and to be expected? I had no problem with the video when I received it, very good and exactly as ordered, but I just assumed that a custom video was for the buyer only.

Some sites offer an "exclusive" option for an additional fee, but otherwise it seems to be standard practice to resell when you order from sites like I Want Clips or Many Vids.
It's happend with my custom orders many times, and I must admit I'm always delighted to see the model make some more money out of them.
Customs ordered through Onlyfans seem to remain exclusive.

It seems par for the course with some models...my orders for Charlie Monaco pretty much go on c4s right away... Doesn't bother me tbh

Yeah that happened with a few of my custom orders of years gone by prior to Onlyfans becoming a thing.
But as fatboy77 says the customs on Onlyfans seem not to be released for wider consumption.

Just joined Amanda Rendall's OF page to have a mooch round the site and ask her on DM what she charges for customs.
I can well imagine her customs would be pretty explosive .

Just to say that Charlie Monaco is doing customs for a £60 flat rate at present.. I order fetish stuff so I'm not sure how far she goes nowadays... Know she does full nude

The important thing here is that the copyright in a custom video belongs to the creator of the video (unless there is an agreement in writing to the contrary). This means that the creator has the right to use that video as they wish, to sell it to other people, to give it to someone for free, whatever they want to do with it. So the assumption by MacDanett that a custom video is for the buyer only is incorrect as a matter of law.

However, fatboy77 has raised a really important point here. The creator can't legally sell the video to others if there is an exclusivity agreement. As he said, some sites offer an exclusive option for an additional fee, which accordingly should rule out any reselling. Though even in this case the copyright would still belong to the creator, so the video would be for your eyes only but it would be illegal for you to sell or distribute it.

I have something else I'd like to ask. When your order a custom video do you provide a mere outline of what you require or do you provide a detailed script?

I'm almost certain that Chloe Toy's custom vids hasve the option of Wether you wish for the footage to be exclusive for yourself or not.

Then discounts your fee if it's sonethi g she can sell on at a later date.

I feel this is not a bad idea at all, but perhaps should be a Timed Exclusive deal, like only you can view it for 3 months before it goes on general release.

Always bare in mind that any exclusives perchased, still belong to the creator, not the person paying to view it.
This was explained to me by another model a few years ago.
Due to people sharing such "exclusives" on porn vid sharing sites etc
