Yousaf reveals that the accountancy firm Johnston Carmichael actually resigned last year in October, though it is thought it was actually September and that he did not know anything about it.

Johnston Carmichael issued a report in Sept 2022: “We have conducted an initial risk review...this has led to disengagement from clients where we perceive there to be a risk of failing to deliver a quality audit.”

An SNP spokesperson revealed that the party has informed the Electoral Commission of its difficulty in finding replacement auditors. The party has until July 7th to get everything in order or face sanctions from the EC.

Wow! It seems the luxury motorhome wasn't his at all. It actually belonged to the SNP itself.

It's not clear whether the SNP actually knew this prior to the police seizing it. It was certainly a surprise to Yousaf when he was told.
