^He's going to struggle to get through the 1st week! Tomorrow is a bit lumpy with a "flatter"day on Monday. Tuesday brings the Col du Galibier with 3600m of climbing eek

Victory to day for Ronan Bardet of the team DSM Firmenic. He and fellow teammate Frank Van den Broek held their breakaway to just finish before the peloton.

So the yellow jersey goes to a Frenchman, in Italy. Wink

Stage 2 was won by another Franceman Kevin Vauquelin ( Arkea - B&B Hotels).

The yellow jersey is now taken by Tadej Pogacar.

Todays stage 3 is a 230.8km flat course between Plaisance to Turin

The is the stage for Cavendish as it will be a sprint finish.

This stage is the longest on this years tour

The winner of today's stage of the Tour de France was won in by UAE Team Emirates Tadej Pogacar in Valloire. He attacked on the Galibier climb before descending to the finish line to reclaim the Yellow Jersey.
