^I think the chances of that happening are probably high enough to make it a reality lol. Didn't he say Ten Hag wss a good fit for United when he took the job? I think the easier of the two winnable options would be Utd retaining the FA Cup and getting back into the top 6. Surely winning the League from where they are now would be Mission Impossible (and more likely bigger odds than Leicester doing it). To be honest we could get Damned United 2 if he did it.

I wouldn't be surprised if the first question he's asked is : "If Mourinho calls himself 'the Special one', what do you call yourself?" he can't say the Normal One because Klopp already called himself that.

The League Cup win will probably be the shot in the arm United needed. Not only that it probably said a lot about Ten Hag's management skills.

Reports suggest Amorim is likely to be staying at Sporting until after the international break, but we probably could have more clarification on his position, after Sporting's game against Estrela. United are keeping their cards close to their chest and not commenting while Sporting are saying it it a 'done deal'.

Amorim's arrived. And his first decision is to get rid of Ruud Van Nistelrooy.

Van Nistelrooy was keen to stop as part of the backroom staff.

But after a meeting between them both it's been announced that Van Nistelrooy has left the club.

Ruud would have been wasted there should get a job elsewhere are get his name out so in 18 months can take over when amorin fails
