Youll need a DVB-S1/2/T Satellite Tuner connected to your PC and your sat dish on 19.2 East so im assuming you already have and know this? You just want help with the software?

I will, as ever, be accused of defending the ch. even if they are not to blame even for this latest fiasco.

I am no expert but I, as a webmaster, know a few things of how the www works. The provider, in this case BS24, sends data to a server. The server then processes the data and a website then requests that final data to provide to the end-user. If something goes wrong in that chain of events then the end-user does not get what he expects.

When I tuned in last night the stream was already borked. Typically, at some point during the late night/early morning the server fails and when I check in the morning I am greeted with a still image and a 'revolving wheel'. And that is what I initially saw at 20:00. The refresh just gave me 10-30 seconds of video.

And it has been stated that it was too late to sort things out. However as I now tune in things are sorted out. Which, for me, kinda proves who was at fault last night.

Not that anyone will agree with me.

So you are saying it is the end server that is at fault?
How is it then that we were seeing two separate feeds, one live, one recorded, alternating at a few second intervals? Surely both these feeds can only originate from BS24 data so it must be them at fault. If the channel were only sending out a live feed, as they should, the end server could only process that one feed.

Well the original 'frozen' picture was that of Joy and that was the one you saw - same sequence - when you refreshed.

Yes, BS24 sent them the live feed of Charlene, and that differed each time you refreshed, but the server appeared to be still attempting to send the recorded one at the same time.

Well, no matter what the reason was, I hope tonight and tomorrow night there are no fuck ups.

Divina was a bit better in her last show and Becky is super cute. Hana was boring in her first show, but maybe she improves. I think I don't need to say anything about Marie

The next two nights have big potential and are very interesting. So, again, please NO technical shenanigans...
