On a more serious note, at most us girlies have 10 years in the industry, then we're classed as 'old'...having an alternative career planned for when your babechannel days are up, shows that us girlies have our heads screwed on!!

I have always hoped that the girls on our screens (and am delighted to hear that there are so many) would be educated and able to plan for a future after modelling/presenting etc.

Not to say that the girls who dont go to Uni are without hope in the future as i think you dont have to be educated to University level to be smart.

I just think that its nice to talk to a girl who can hold a conversation and am glad that so many seem to be able to do that

Absolutely spot on, get some qualifications while you can and you never lose them. It can be a lucrative industry but it is a short career expectancy and although it might be tempting to party hard and splash the cash the wise course of action is to prepare for life afterwards. Plus you never know who you might meet at University...
